What I want to do is rebuild a DVD with same chapter points but at a certain point on the disc I want it to go to another part on the disc then when it is done return to the original video. I would like to keep the menu and relink the chapter menu. Any help would be great,

You will have to change DVD VM cell commands.
You can do it in PgcEdit (free, but not easy to lear) or DVDReMake Pro, not free but easier to grasp. -
There's no tutorial I know of to do exactly what you want. Yours is an unusual request, I'm sure you'll agree. However the second half of this tutorial:
http://jsoto.posunplugged.com/guides/VobBlanker/splitdvd9/index.php
does go into some detail about editing the cell commands in PGCEdit. It's a guide for converting a DVD9 into 2 DVD5, and the second one, the one that plays the second half of the movie, has the cell commands edited so the movie starts on the first chapter of the 2nd half of the movie. I think by going over the procedure you can figure out how and when to do the first jump you want, and, with any luck, how to get back to where you want afterwards.
The part you want begins after Optional. You'll probably mess up a few times before getting the hang of it. Just replace the IFO commands that PGCEdit saves automatically and start over again. -

Set it to Advance mode. In Domain window click on Program Chain/PGC of your movie.
I do not know how is your Remake setup, but either click on Cell Tab and Program Tab to open those windows or see if they are already open.
In Program Window you will see Program, Cell, Still Time, Command, an so on.
In Program column the numbers are your chapters.
If you want to go from one chapter to other skipping some, Click in Cell Command Window and go Add command.
Once in that window highlight "Link Instruction" under Conditions there is other box, check it and open that window. Go down an click on "Link Program" or "Link Cell", fill out the chapter or cell number where you want to go, click OK.
Link Program will go to chapter.
Link Cell will go to a cell you choose.
Go back to Programs and go to chapter you want to jump from.
Sometimes chapter will have more than one cell, in that case you can choose cell you want to jump from, once you know, double click on that line and new window will open. Open Command # scroll bar end click on # your command line is on in Cell Command window, click OK and you are done.
To go back, do the same thing on the chapter you just finished playing.
If you want to split cell, because that where you want to go from, it can be done the same way after splitting.
There is quite good help file on Remake Web site, but it is lot to read.
PgcEdit is similar. If you go to the site manono pointed. Go to the bottom where they start PgcEdit and follow instructions.
Good luck. -

Then add a Call VMG PGC post-command where you want to link from or use 'Jump VMG PGC' as button command.
