Started to create my first DVD last night. Recorded a couple clips using ATI at 740x480 at 8m. Fired up VP5 and started dragging the clips into the program. Each clip when dragged in gave me a message with the mux rate in red. It appeared to be higher than the 8m that I recorded at. After I placed everything like I wanted it I told it to record. It started a conversion. Watched the red light for the hard drive buzzing away. Then it started somthing called separation. That's where the trouble begins and ends. It gets all the way to 100% and it stays there forever. Did this for 2 1/2 hours. Did find a couple of VP5 files in the windows temp directory with the correct names on them. Anybody have any ideas or solutions? By the way I have made many VCD and SVCD disks with this program. Got the same inital mux rate message, but it always went through and made the CD.
Thanks,
Little John

P.S.
I also tried lowering the res to 352x480 along with the bit rate to 7m and had the same problem.
