    We recorded a video using a Sony camcorder and a memorex mini dvd-r, because that's all we had at the time. The mini dvd-r does not play in any computer or dvd player, but works fine in the camcorder it was recorded with. Our friend has no cables for the camcorder to hook it up to the computer. Is there anything I can do to get the video on my computer???

    It sounds like the disc isn't finalized. Check the camcorder manual for instructions to finalize the disc.

    Oh ok, never knew camcorders needed to do that. The only thing that sucks now is a dead battery and no charger for it. :/ Would I be able to put the dvd in another camcorder and upload to a computer?
