    Ive been trying to change an mkv file without converting it by demuxing the files and converting the audio to aac, but the xbox360 will not take the video which is encoded at level 5.1 . Does anyone now how to change this to level 4.1 without rencoding it please?

    Are you sure you don't mean audio?

    The Xbox supports 5.1 surround sound.
