  1. I'm rather new at making VCD's, but this site has been a temendous help. However I've been having some problems. I convert my cd's using Virtualdub and TMPGEnc and then burn then with Roxio Easy CD Creator Platinum. Everything seems to go perfectly untill i try to play them in my DVD player. Instead of saying "01 tracks" at the top of the screen it says "00 tracks" and wont play, but it does regonized the running time of the VCD (displayed on the front of the DVD player). But here is the weird thing, I made one that works, and if I put that one in fist and then eject it, all the rest of them will work too. They will work untill i power the player off. Is this a problem with my DVD player or the way I'm buring them? (I'm not sure what i did differnet on the one that works, if anything). PLEASE HELP ME. If you need more information, please feel free to email me at andrew-heffling@uiowa.edu or i can be reached through AIM SN - Num1Golfer. THANKS

Check the dvd player compatability list for your player. Also I am not familiar with Roxio, but you can try Nero to burn your vcds. Available in the tool section of this website.....

  3. I know it is compatible for two reasons

    A) it says right on it DVD/VCD/MP3/CD/CD-R/CD-RW compatible

    B) and also as I mentions it WILL play them, but only when i put the one that work in first
