Recently upgraded my laptop with more ram. Wondering if both are the same frequency and if both sticks(Different Brands!) are functioning properly together.

Anyone know of some good system programs that can check this? I tried belarc adviser but all it told me was how much ram i had, and how much each stick was.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This is a comprehensive, stand-alone memory diagnostic app

One version of the download creates a selfbooting floppy
The other is an ISO to be burnt to CD
I just ran it today to check on two sticks of new ram.

Here is a more up-to-date memtest and it is free. No $9.99 for some stupid cdrom.
