I was just reading the guide on digital digest for creating a slideshow with DVD Slideshow GUI. I am a bit confused on page 2 of the guide and wondering if it is a typo or am I reading it wrong. It says:

"If the length of the music/audio is shorter than the length of the slideshow, the audio will be repeat itself over, and you will get silence for the rest of the slideshow."

My question is this. if the audio is repeating then how would there be silence for the rest of the show? it seems contradictory? Also is there an option to just sync the show to the audio length?

    Also it says

"A chapter stop will be created at the start of each new slide, for your convenience".

Does this mean every picture will be a chapter. A 300 pic slideshow would have 300 chapters? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

  2. The music will be repeated over and over until the end of the slideshow. If you want slience after the music - open the music in a soundeditor(ex. Audacity) and add silence to the end of the slideshow(get the total duration af the slideshow from MPC when previewing) - and use this music file for importing in DSG.

There are a maximum of 100 chapterpoints pr. videofile on a dvd - so if there are more slides in your slideshow, the 100 chapterpoints will be added as points throughout the slideshow(but not adding points to all slides).
