I've tried countless times without any luck. It's frustrating cause I know a lot about this stuff. Has anybody done this succesfully? And if so, how? Can you post a picutre of the backend settings?

There are other programs that are able to like ripbot264 but I can't for the hell of it figure out why mediacoder is unable to do it. I set up the settings exactly to how ripbot sets them and it still doesn't work. Keep getting a black screen with audio or just unplayable. Could it be the way mediacoder muxes it? I've noticed that the first track of the mp4 container is the audio and the second track is the video. I fixed that using YAMB yet it still didn't work.

I know the PS3 doesn't support 4x4 P macroblock search, so it's disabled. But other than that it should work. I want to use mediacoder instead of anything else because it is a lot more customizable than other programs. So if you have any suggestions, I'll be glad to hear them.

BTW, is there any program that tells more detail on AVC encoded files? Like what options were used to make the file and frame types and all that fun stuff. Gspot doesn't satisfy me.

Another quick question. Is there a program similar to Vdub but for MP4 files?

Did you ever get this to work? To this day, I am having the exact same problems as you describe.
