  1. I'm not sure what forum this should be in, or if I should even post it all. I had someone come to my place and install Windows xp and McAfee (working copies with automatic updates) Photoshop and a bunch of other software on my computer. It took about 2 hours to do all the work. Total price: About 4 US dollars.

That's nice, in the mean time whoever developed that software hasn't made zilch.

And this is relevent to all of us because ... ????

In many parts of the ex-USSR, you can buy bootleg copies of Windows for the equivalent of 2-3 US dollars. Wow. I'm sure everyone on the forum needed to know that too.

Normallly I'd just ignore this kind of foolish post, but you thought this merited going in the "Latest Video News" section. Do also post and let us know how much Coca Cola costs in whatever Godforsaken part of China you live in.

  6. Coke in glass returnable bottles costs about 14 cents. It tastes quite good.

jimdagys, I wouldn't have posted it at all. If I believed you were advocating Warez, then that would be a violation of our rules.

And this isn't latest video news. Moving you to our Computer Forum.

OK, but is it "real" Coca-Cola?

LOL- photoshop and windows xp for $4 ??? unless microsoft and adobe are having a clear out sale, what else would you call it ? Still can't see the point of the original post. Unless,...the poster really believes he was getting original programs and a bargain price, and wanted to share this info with us !

  10. And a bunch of other software... £2000 worth of software for £1.99 and that includes installation?.. the blank discs would cost half that..

Why do we have a thread that is discussing / advocating warez? This stuff the OP is talking about is obviously counterfeit (read stolen) software. Not anything good is being served by chitty-chatting about it.

i think that the OP feals that he called a computer tech and asked for installation of that SW and some clean up. he then recieved all this for a very small sum. HE didnt steal the stuff or ask for stolen property.. SO the OP thinks that he is 100% legal and not at fault. i dont think he was thinking about warez in his post.. BUT any fool would know that you cant get any of that stuff for that cheap. and any court would say you had to know it was stolen for it to be that cheap.

because he paid something for it and had installed by a thrid party i think he feals he got a hell of a deal and all is great..

Sad news is hes not legal and could get busted just as easy as if he were the bootleger.
