Hi group. I an not a newbie but I have come across a problem that I have never had before.

I have a movie on my hard drive that I want to burn to a regular dvd and play on a stand alone player. I always used Sonic Recod Now Delux version 7.3 to do this and never had a problem before, it always would work and play on any dvd player just fine.

I use the "data" disc funtion and drage the VIDEO_TS folder which contains all the IFO and TS and VOB files into Sonic Record Now. I then burn the disc. It play back in my PC with no problem but wont read in either of my 3 stand alone players. All the player are with in 2-3 years old and I have done this same process many times and it always would play back in my stand alone players.

Then I tried a different software called AVS DVD copy and AVS DVD convert. Both programs did the same thing. the Final product will play back on my PC in WIN dvd but not on the stand alone players. One of the players gave a message saying the disc was incompatable. On anothe rplayer it said "Disc is dirty". I have tried both Sony and Fugi DVD+R. I have always used the same media in the past.

Can anyone help me here? I don't want to kee paying $30.00 for different software to foind out that does not work either. Maybe I am doing something wrong here and don't realize it. Please help.....thank you

I wouldn't be buying any burning software when Imgburn is free and reliable.

Start up Imgburn and select Mode -> Build. Select the Video_TS folder, and burn away (further tutorials and guides are linked from the Help menu in Imgburn).
