Bringing an avi in vdub, the source window picture quality is very poor, but the avi is perfect.
The output window looks the same, as does the resulting mpeg.
what i mean by very poor is it looks like a 32 bit picture displayed on a 16 bit display.
what's puzzling is that if it's just display why does the resulting mpeg look like it.
if i do a direct stream copy, the created avi is fine, but if i do a resize, it looks blotchy.
would it help to up a before and after still to demonstrate?
my monitor display depth is 32 bit. AIW Radeon 32 WIn2k
