I have some VOB files I ripped off of a DVD. I want to put them on a DVD-R, but I have a question. Do I need the IFOs and BUPs?
If you play it like that, will the DVD just start playing when you put it in the DVD player?

Re-author as a new dvd.

I did it and it worked. I have just one problem now.
The VOB that is suppose to play 2nd plays first. One is VTS 01_0 VOB and VTS 01_1 VOB. What causes this to happen? -
When you rip disc to your hard drive, do not just "drag" VOBs and save them.
Use DVD Shrink or DVD Fab to rip the disc for you, they will do it correct, with all the parts needed to burn complete DVD later on.
