  1. Hi all.
For whole series, I'd like to remove the title and end credits, leaving just the content (avi files, examples are Family Guy and House).
While this can be done by avi splitting, this is quite a time-consuming task.
What I thought would be great was a program where you can load templates into the library (e.g. family guy opening sequence), then select a batch of files andhave it auto-remove any (or selected) templates which occur.
If it had options for "Remove start until this sequence" and "remove from this sequence till end" you could easily cut out front & end credits. Also, a 'within-content' template which fuzzy-matches for the occurrence of start and end sequences and clips them out could be used for programmes such as House, where the start credit is follows the opening scene.

If anyone knows anything which I could use to do this, or if this exists already, or is really good at programming and wants to just go ahead and build it (!), please let me know
    Cheers!

  2. The series' that I have seldom have the Title sequence at the start of the episode. They usually have a teaser before the Title sequence and the length of the teasers vary from episode to episode. Also the episodes themselves often vary in length so I think it would be difficult to automatically identify where these sequences start to remove them accurately.

  3. not if a program was matching the title sequence it was expecting against the video stream. Could be done as simply as "between these two frames", with modifiers for "frames minus/plus X seconds" for fade in/out titles...
