    I have this avi file which is in DixvMpg4 v3 format and I can't play it on anything. So I researched how to convert it into an asf but apparently I can't get my hands on a MS Windows Media Tools file because Microsoft doesn't destribute the file anymore. So I tried Virtualdub, but when I opened the file I couldnt convert it into anything. Does anyone have any suggestions here? Thanks in advance

    Are you sure you have the codec for it? I know that may be a stupid question, but you never know......

    well, I have the mpeg 4, dixv 3.11, and nimo codecs. I also tried the kristal and that didn't help.
