    hello


    i try to convert video file to wmv ... i used WME & VLC .. WME provide much better quality ... pixels , many square over the picture with VLC Specially in sport video .. i used 128K for video , 12.5 frame-rate

    i try wmv1 , wmv2 in vlc
    WME used wmv8

    do i have to change something in vlc setting ?

    i ask in vlc irc but they did not reply

    They are very low settings, so I would expect low quality output. WMV is a closed source codec, and while some can mimic it, none seem to be able to get results as clean as WME. If you have WME, why not use it. If you are going to squeeze the living crap out of your video, you want to use the best version of the encoder possible, and that (for WMV at least) is WME.
