I have some mpeg files I downloaded that I'm trying to convert to dvd using ConvertXtoDVD, when I add them to the list of files to be converted they don't register the length correctly, ie some of the clips are 10 mins but ConvertX says they are 50 seconds. Anyone know what might cause this and how to correct it?

Repair the mpg files with VideoReDo using the quickstream fix.

D compliant, do not use ConvertXtoDVD, author them with GUIForDVDAuthor, or your favourite authoring tool, instead.

I downloaded the trial version of VideoReDo and it seems to work fine, I repaired the files using the quickstream option and now the video lengths register correctly in ConvertX. Thx Baldrick
