  1. First of all is there a way to extrac part of an audio file into a new file without rencoding?Like say i have an .mp3 and i just want a part of it on a new file without rencoding and losing quality.

The i also need a software that can exract part of an audio from a video file. But i want it to be handy.I dont want to extract the whole audio with vdub and then cut to the specified point.i want an automated solution.I have tried some software such as riverpast,video-audio cutter but wasnt happy with the results.

mp3directcut can cut mp3 without reconverting and you can open a video file in goldwave and cut out what you want from the audio.

    I'll try goldwave now.
