Hej.
I have made several tape with my old analog videocamera, I have difrent marks of tape, sony, fuji, tdk, and more, I have been making these tspes over several years, and this camera dont exist any more, but I have an adabter, then I can play tmen in a videorecorder.
Some of the tapes are ok, but others I cant look what is on them, the sound is ok but if there is an pickture it is disortet, have I lost whats on theese tapes or is there any way to resower it.
I hope that someone can help me. Thanks

	You have a sample of the capture? 
 
 If by distorted you mean it's skewing a TBC might help but it may also not help. Providing a smaple clip will give everyone something to look at...

	What kind of analog videocamera?

	I had a JVC VHSc, video recorder, I have tryed it in GR-AX7, it is not the same that I lost, some of my tape there is no problems with, I have tryed to make at small test, I hope that it is working, it is a small zip file. 
 TBC is that some kind of hardware ?

	I also had a JVC VHSc camcorder and had a similar problem. If memory serves the one of camcorder's modes recorded in S-VHS format. Tapes recorded in that format will not play on a standard VHS. When my camcorder died I picked up a S-VHS VCR which plays the tapes just fine.

	I dont know what format I record the tapes in, I think that it was standard, I have tryed to play them in an philips vr 550 video recorder, that was very bad, then I tryed an Normende spectra video recorder ( the test was made in this one ), then I tryed to play in the jvc camera, no luck, there is no folder in the tape they look ok.

	If it is s-vhs-c, how can I play it, I am using an VHS-C adapter, and a NORMENDE spectra videoplayer, and a s-vhs cabel to pc, is it the videoplayer I have to change ??, is there anyone there can advice me

	You have to have a player capable of playing S-VHS content. 
 
 There is no such animal as an "s-vhs cable". That is an s-video cable.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
