    Anyone know why WME fails on 2nd pass vbr...?
    I demuxed an EVO file to mpv..installed Elecard video decoder. MPV plays fine in win media player 11.
    I can do 1 pass CBR succesfully...but not 2 pas vbr. WME will go through 1st pass then just output a 5kb file.
    I've been messing with this for a week now..lol. Thank
    my system..winxp sp2..
    Athlon 64 3700
    1500 mb ram
    800gigs storage
    Geoforce Nvidia 8600 vid card 512mb

    Can you convert other sources fine with wme?

    And maybe try another wmv converter frontend like AutoMKV or WMNicEnc.

    And moving you to our dvd to avi,wmv forum as it also handles hd-dvd and blu-ray to wmv.

    I know this is a very old thread, but what can I do?

    I have the same problem, no single video passes the 2nd round, wmenconder always fails with a send report message.

    Almost Same PC config

    AMD 64 6000+
    1500 RAM
    500 GB free HDD
    Geforce 8600
