Quick one for you. or two. I have a vob file and an iso file plan is to add brightness. I have vdubmod loaded to the gills. What I need is a program that will convert these files to avi so I can lightly edit. My other issue is the vob file is actually 2. One movie split into 2 700mb cd's No concern for the mb's Need to join these 2 files into one so I can edit and burn. Thanks. I just dl'ed IsoBuster. I've done a search but soo much to swim through! Maybe you can point me to the right post relating to my issue. Thanks

VirtualDubMod can load VOBs. If I understand you correctly, you have 2 VOBs you want to join. Use VOBMerge to that end.
ISO is not a video format, so what to do with that one depends on what's inside.
And: What's your end format? AVI? DVD? ...?

If the vobs have same video and audio settings you could join it with vobmerge and then open the new vob in vdubmod. But doesn't vdubmod open both automatic if they are named like vob1.vob and vob2.vob? It was a loong time ago I used vdubmod. :=

Exctract the content from the iso and give us more information about that source file.

5hanks for replying. The iso is infact a movie img to be exact. As stated, I'm only looking to lightly edit this movie/ add brightness and then burn. As for vob, that is good info. I'll look into that later tonight.

End format? from iso to avi for editing in vdubmod and then to dvd-r.

A - DVD-R as in Video DVD I presume (not data DVD?). You should avoid takeing a detour over AVI, as that, unless you don't use some lossless AVI codec, will deteriorate the video quality.
You could also use VOB2MPG to join the VOBs and extract the mpg (which is the fundamental ingerdient in Video DVD) which you can then edit using some mpg editor (or, if you just want to cut out parts, using TMPGEnc DVD Authors built in tools as you author).
The iso is infact a movie img
Please be more specific again. An ISO is a disk image. I was suspecting that it'd contain a movie of some kind, but what kind? AVI? VCD? SVCD? Video DVD? ...?
Simplest way to extract the contents of a disk image is to mount it using daemon tools. You can then use it as if it was a physical disk in your CD/DVD reader.
