  1. Can anyone tell me how to burn many tv episodes into one 4.7 dvd? I bought some dramas that contain many episodes in one dvd and i just don't understand how they did it. I tried to burn 3 mpeg1 episodes using nero and it kept on saying size exceed.

It depends on how you want to do it, and what quality level you are prepared to live with. if you are happy with reducing the resolution down to VCD level, you can fit upwards of 7 hours on a disc. For higher quality you can use half-D1 and get around 4 hours to a disc.

I would suggest FAVC as a good option. It uses HCEnc, which is a high quality encoder, and allows for half-D1 and VCD resolution encoding. It's menus are pretty simple, but you can always use it to encode, the add your own menus afterwards.

Nero failed you because it tried to re-encode the video you gave it.

450 MB means nothing. Size is dictated by length and bitrate. If you tell DVD Flick to fit two 50 minute episodes on a disc, it will pick the highest bitrate it can to preserve the highest quality it can. If you tell it to fir four 50 minute episodes, it will reduce the bitrate (and therefore the quality) in order to do so. The size of the avi files is irrelevant to this process.

You can over-ride DVD Flick's encoding settings by clicking on Project Settings -> Video, and changing Target Bitrate.

Personally, I think FAVC is a better tool for what you want to do, as you can drop the resolution down to half-D1 to get more on.
