Hi all, first post here hope to get some answers, thanks in advance for all helpers, and now for my question.
When I'm inserting permanent subtitles with Textsub filter in virtualdubmod into my videos, I use the same Textsub filter settings (font /size/color/type, position on screen, etc...) to all my videos, and I always need to change those settings from the default one each time (try to do it when you working on 10+ videos and see how annoying it can be).
So my question is how do I change the default Textsub filter settings to my own "default settings" in virtualdubmod, so I won't need to change them each time all over again?

Hi, there are two way I can think of. Both depend upon you using SSA text subtitles.
1) Specify and use a style (called anything other than Default) in your text subtitle files. Make sure all files have the same header (and obviously use that style in the events. That style will come up in TextSub and you won't have to change a thing.
2) In your SSA file, name and use the style Default (or *Default), and I understand from the SSA specs that your system default style will be used. Apparently the SSA renderer ignores the SSA style specification if it's called Default and reverts to the system default. I haven't tried this so YMMV.

fvisagie --> from what you saying (If I got you right, if not forgive me, and please explain again in more detailed way if possible) I still need to adjust something each time I'm inserting sub's, so it's not helping me so much.
leogeo --> most of my sub's file are also in srt format, I think you missed something when fvisagie wrote "Both depend upon you using SSA text subtitles" he meant we need to convert our sub's files to ssa format (it's easy with Subtitle Workshop), so we could use he's methods.
