    When converting .avi to .mpg, the audio is either gone or out of sync. Does anyone else have this problem?

    Ya, I did too, all I did was (if u got the time) ENCODE with TMPG then I found a full version of XINGMPEG ENCODER (look on those file sharing programs) and encoded it with that XING only takes another hour and a 1/2 longer!! It worked for my APEX 703
