Hi all,
I'm trying to author a DVD using DVDAuthorGUI but got an unknown error. I looked at the log & it seems to be something about a "frame data under-run". Could someone please explain me what causes this & , more important, how to fix it?
Thanks in advance,
ChibiTomo.
Details:
- m2v was created with HC v0.21. Made sure everything was DVD compliant. NTSC Source.
- ac3 taken directly from original DVD using DGMPGDec. 0ms delay, verified with media player classic.
- Authoring as NTSC with 1 title, 3 menus, 12 chapters & a srt subtitle file.
- After the error the output folder only contains Title1.mpg. Which plays in mpc without subs, menu or chapters. (only video, sound - in sync)
- let me know if you need more info.

You may be able to just ignore the error using that option under 'file' (ignore errors while authoring). Mplex appears to be saying that the combined AV stream is too high, and is therefore warning you of data underruns.
You might also try using the alternative muxing tool, which can be enabled under 'tools'. -
liquid217,
Using the ignore option seems to work. The DVD plays fine on my standalone.
