downloading svcd and vcd

can we download svcd and vcd instead of avi format so we dont have to go through encoding them to mpegs.most downloads we find for movies are in avi format we never seem to find in our search in morpheus movies in mpeg form or vcd form just avi

any help with this would be great

also we have dvd+rw burner do they have full dvd movies to download(1 disc)

the reason why you dont find many video files in mpeg formatt is cause the files take way too long to download for most people. A vcd ready file is about 2 or 3 times bigger than a avi file. I understand what you are saying. This can be a very frustrating process. Hang in there as a newbie thatst all we can do.
