.AJP is the extension on a video file I'm attempting to view. The file was made on a DVR hooked up to a security system. How do I convert the .AJP file into a Quicktime compatible video format? If the file can't be converted, is there any way to view the file on a Mac?

    from filext.com:

    Extension: AJP

AJP Player is the program required to play files that you backup to CD or DVD on older model JPEG2000 DVR's. ..... [Search for AJP file errors with this scan.]

The download is free, here: http://www.jpeg2000support.com/resources/AJPPlayer.exe

It's a DOS executable, so you'll need a PC or Virtual PC for the mac you use. It might run under Darwine.

So there's no way to view this file on a Mac without installing VPC? I was hoping something like VLC or MPlayer would work.

QEMU is free, but you'll still need Windows on top of it to work. The easiest way is to borrow a pc. Can you post a sample file for me to play with? Maybe I'll find something. You might try opening the file in a browser.

I used the AJPPlayer dnix71 recommended. I ran it through Virtual PC. It was as slow as one would expect in VPC, but it did the job (It even allowed me to save an AVI out of the security footage - very cool). Thanks for the help.
