This might be the multiregional hack for Samsung DVD M301

I might of found a hack for Samsung M301 but I don't have any Region 2 or 3 disk to try this out. Somebody please try this out.

Use Aiwa Remote hack (Do a cold start first). My Aiwa Remote was model RC-ZAS02. Pressing Sleep (Shift 8) will bring up following menu.

Completed Cold Start
DVD Single: NG
DVD Dual L0:NG
DVD Dual L1:NG
VCD/CD :NG
Pickup 2CD

CS: 01 1

Then press Shift+8+8 (Clock twice). This will eject the disk and ADJUST will be displayed on the dvd player.

Another interesting thing. If you press Sleep on your Aiwa remote while the dvd player is turned off it will illuminate your display panel with all the available function. One of them is PAL display which is not listed on the owner manual. Perhaps, there is a hack to play PAL disk on M301????

I too have samsung dvd m301 player for my
home stero system.

My player is set for region 1.
I have region 2 disc I cant play.

Im not clear on your instructions.
I dont have aiwa remote, why is it needed?

If you can clarify your instructions a bit
I can perform the tests and maybe we'll have
the hack for 301, which I really want.
