  2. Maybe your system is getting very old...

or you can try to use other programs.... like TMPGenc...
    Panasonic Mpeg encoder,... etc...

these are all in the download tools section of this forum..

  7. yes i printed out all in one guide divx to vcd mpeg

    tools virtualdub,tmpgenc,vcdeasy plus div3.11 and divx4

i downloaded all tools installed both divxs

then followed from #1 audio extracting
    got all the way to
choosing my video source ie snow dogs from morpheus its an avi. and it was part 1of 2

this is where i get an erro meassage not compatible or something
im doing avi2vcd now it works because i cjheck on it and it is a mpeg of what is completed of the encoding but it is very slow seems its going at about 2 frames a second hmmm 13 hours to do 82782 frames.
    There must be something easier,
If we were to purchase one of the encoder such as the Pioneer one i think at $79.00 would it go smoothly other than doing the audio with the audio decompressor we got with avi2vcd program

i appreciate your help you can email me if youd like JOYOFWINDOWS@AOL>COM
