    Im looking for some good free software that I can use to burn some files to a blank cd or blank dvd disc. What can you guys recommend?

    Imgburn here to. Use Build mode, select your files, and burn away.

    You could also use Folder2Iso to create ISO images that could be burn with IMGBurn at a later time.

    Folder2ISO isn't recommended for video disc DVDs, but should work for CDs. But ImgBurn can also create a ISO from a VIDEO_TS folder or other video files that you can save to your hard drive.

    If you are burning data DVDs, then check out Deep Burner.
