It has been awhile since I first instlled IE7 on my PC, so I don't know if this is still true, but assuming that you formerly had IE 6 and installed IE7 on your PC yourself, if you uninstall it, it will go back to IE6. Now that IE7 has been around for a while, it might not do this anymore.
If you don't want IE6 or can't go back to thator didn't install IE7 yourself, you should go to Windows Update and apply all of the updates available. That should probably help your IE7 interface appearance. -
I'm guessing that you are objecting to the appearance of the "tabbed browsing" in IE7. I refuse to "upgrade" to IE7, so I can offer no practical advice. I don't know if it's possible or not in the settings to turn this off, but it might be. A well crafted internet search saying something like "turn off tabbed browsing IE7" might get you some help. As a wise man here says "Google is your friend".
The current Firefox also supports tabbed browsing, but it's much less jarring in appearance than that and I believe it can be turned off by default if you wish. -
The appearance of the websites is all messed up. Something is wrong in the settings. Im not going to install firefox. I have no problems with IE7 or these sites on my laptop. Could it be macroflash?

Delete your VideoHelp cookies, then in 'Tools>Internet option>Advanced', reset IE7 to default if you are having a problems with our site.
Or if you don't like IE7, you should be able to revert to IE6. Or if, like me, you miss the favorites and other options on a menu bar, and still want to use IE7, right click on the bottom bar and check the 'Menu Bar' and you should have it back.
If you want the bottom status bar back, Right click on that also.
I find the bottom command bar irritating.I also don't use tabs, don't want tabs. I know I can go back to IE6, but I'd rather fix IE7 the way I want. One way to remove it through the registry: http://www.winhelponline.com/articles/86/1/ I used the small program at the bottom of the page to disable it.
These changes are only for the adventurous. If you modify the registry, back it up first. Fair warning.
Here's what IE7 on Vista looks like after a few tweaks instead of the way MS wants it to look:

It looks like you are running your desktop in 4 or 16 colours. Right-click on the desktop and select Properties. Click on the Settings tab, and adjust the Colour Quality to at least 24 bit, and 32 bit if supported. If you don't have these options then Bjs is right - you need to install newer drivers.
If the colours are screwed simply because of the way you saved the file, then I'm not sure what your problem is. If you don't like the tabs, and want to make it look like the old IE then you can click on Tools -> Internet Options. On the General tab, about half way down, is a section marked Tabs. Click on the button marked Settings, and untick the top box. This will turn off tabs completely after you restart IE.
However, why anyone would want to browse without tabs is beyond me.Read my blog here.

Its stickly regarding the apparance of the sites. This is a photo of what it should look like, compared to the first picture that is what it looks like regularly.

On the first bmp (the bad one) it shows across the top "Internet Explorer", on the second bmp (good one) it say across the top "Internet Explorer provided by Shaw Internet", it looks like you got updated by Microsoft. You can try uninstalling the updated one, reinstalling the "Shaw Internet" version and change your Autoupdater to "Let Me Choose Which Updates To Apply"

The good picture is from my laptop computer, whereas the 1st image is from the affected machine. It does offer 24-36 bit color to answer the question from before.
-
The most obvious thing that I noticed is that in the first image you are not in the forum, you are on the mainpage. In the second image you are in the forum.
Aside from that, and everyones comments above, maybe you could explain exactly what you want instead of everyone here guessing trying to help.Google is your Friend -

I had nothing but problems with IE7 myself. As well as websites and fonts not displaying correctly it stopped Outlook Express sending messages automatically from the outbox. After reverting to IE6 all these problems disappeared.
-
I had this problem with IE6 as well, this is a screenshot of the main page. I want the first screenshot to look like this one. I havent installed any drivers yet, ill attempt that when I can get to it.
Thanks for your help guys.
