  1. Hi, I only have a 10gig hard drive right now and im gettign scewed because i cont rip then convert to .dv2 and then make it an mgeg because i dont have enough hard drive space for all that. i have around 8 gigs free. So i was wondering if there is any way to skip the ripping process or skip the changing the .vob to the .dv2 and just go straight from .vob to .mpg? If so could ya give me a link. Thanks a lot!

  2. Well you can try DVDx which can do Vob2Mpeg useing your DVD-Drive and you dont have to rip ...but i rarely recommend this process becuase this process might overheat your drive and kill it but since you only have a low amount of Space...but there is a new option that you can save the litle Section of themovie you want to encode on the hard-drive and encode from the hard-drive and when it is finished encodeing the art on the hard-drive it deletes that part and copys the nest section fo the Movie and this will help your drive stay alive

  4. There have been time when I was lower on disk space than you. I would rip by chapters, and just do partial rips, encode, rip the rest, encode, then combine after the vobs were gone.
