I'm trying to convert Dix4 (Lord of rings) to VCD follow the VCDHelp Guide .
Every time I've tryed to "Save WAV" VDUB crashed almost at the end of the process.

    AVI file size 699 MB (733,296,640 bytes) - 1:31:57

I've founded that the lenght time of the WAV is the total of the movie. I mean, I have 2 AVIs for the entire movie. But, when I extrat the WAV from any half part, both WAVs have the total lenght of the movie.

Then, I've tryed to convert WAV (even VDUB crashed !) to MP3 with Toolame, then the length time now is ok.

Any idea on how to solve the VDUB problem ?

Maybe other audio tool (DivX -> WAV) ?

    TKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!

  3. try importing the avi in tmpgenc, then going into file, then choose output file to wav

    tks foreborn ,

Your method seems to work, the WAV has the same time lenght (doble that the AVI) , but at least TMPGenc didn't crashed. I've tested the WAV and seemed (to me) that there is no sound on it. No further testing were done.

T hank you! and I'll been waiting for A.Lee for some help...

    Please, anyone ?

    Thanks...

P.D.: I'm using GRAPHEDIT but the sound is not always in sync. , make me do some test and adjust it manually...
