Hey, I was wondering if it was possible to add a video for a background for the menu in DVDLab

I can't seem to do it.. I compiled it to preview the DVD and it didn't have any options or anything.. and the video background was 5 seconds long.. Please help

Preview doesn't show motion. You have to do a full compile. If you add visible buttons (not just highlights) then you have to a Render Motion first. It's all in the help files that ship with DLP.
Personally, I prepare all my motion menus in my editor, and only add the highlights for the menu choices in DLP.Read my blog here.
