    Hey, I was wondering if it was possible to add a video for a background for the menu in DVDLab

    I can't seem to do it.. I compiled it to preview the DVD and it didn't have any options or anything.. and the video background was 5 seconds long.. Please help

    Preview doesn't show motion. You have to do a full compile. If you add visible buttons (not just highlights) then you have to a Render Motion first. It's all in the help files that ship with DLP.

    Personally, I prepare all my motion menus in my editor, and only add the highlights for the menu choices in DLP.

    If you add text to a motion menu, remember to render motion (under the Menu menu item) or else you wont see it.

    Encode it to mpeg, import it, and drop it into the background. It will replace the original one, but this time it is the final version.

    Now you can see why I just do all this in my editor and export an mpeg file.
