I am still running version 2.1 which is very stable.
I have been waiting for any early bugs to be sorted in v3 and would now like to try it.
In the past, when updating, I was always asked to uninstall the earlier version first.
Is there a way to install the latest version and retain previous one for a while.

  2. Well, it's only up to version 2.5.3300, it'll probably be a while longer yet for version 3.

Nope. I assume you still have your setup files for the version you are using? If so, you can install the current version - if it is not for you - you can reinstall your earlier version thereafter...

    Thanks for your response ChrissyBoy.
I still have the SVCD2DVDv2.msi file for my current version. Is that what you are referring to?

I'm not running windows vista so no doubt the current version will be as stable as my existing one. Just wanted to play safe.

Yes - that msi file will allow you to reinstall your existing version - should you want too.

Actually I am using both version 2.1 & 2.5 right now. It did not ask me to uninstall the old version 2.1 at all. If I remember correctly. The new version installed in the new created directory SVCD2DVD2.5.
