  1. Dear All,

I am trying to covert my good collection of VCDs to DVD format.

I have already converted the .Dat file to .mpeg format.

With some help and guidance from this forum, I got TMPGEnx 4.0 Express on my system.
I tried converting these files to DVD format. Very unfortunately, the tool takes its own time to convert each file. Infact it takes almost the running time of the video to convert frame by frame and this is really sickening.

Is there any other tool which is faster than TMPGEnc 4.0 Express?

    Please help me.

    Regards,

    Srinath

You can use tmpgenc dvd author and add the .dat/mpg and it will just reconvert the audio because vcd mpeg1 video is supported on a dvd. See http://www.digitalfaq.com/dvdguides/convert/vcdtodvd/vcdtodvd.htm
