    hello, me again
another problem with adobe premiere: i have to avil files and want to put them together, the problem is that adobe premiere encodes the file again and the quality of the new avi file sucks. what encode do i have to use to keep the quality?
both avi files were encoded in divx 4.11, i used the same encode when i combined the videos with adobe, but as i said, i have the problem with the bad quality afterwards..
    thanks for your help

  2. I am not sure but to prevent Adobe premiere to reencode you will need your output file parameters same as input. It may be possible that your divx was encoded with 2-pass(I am not a divx expert - I may be wrong).
Alternatively you could try VirtualDub. Open the files, Append them and do a "Direct Stream Copy" to a new avi. Should retain your old quality.
