    Hi,

What does everyone recommend in a movie leave it as an MPEG audio or convert it to ac3? If you say convert it, how how do i convert it? I used ffmeggui to convert the MPEG to ac3 then i used VirtualDubMod to Demux it out. When i used my authoring program to add the audio back in, I got no sound. I know after DeMuxing it i tried to save the video but i couldn't. I got a message saying FAT32 can not save more then 4 gigs. Could i use VDMod to convert from MPEG to ac3 audio and is there any guides for that conversion?

There are many free and for money programs that will do the job. Look in tools or do a Google search to find them.

What authoring program are you using? Some authoring programs let you convert to ac3 like tda with the ac3 plugin.

And try convert to ac3 with something else than ffmpeggui like aften but it only accepts wav so you would have to convert the mpeg audio to wav.

And convert one of your hdds to NTFS and you wont have any 4GB problems!

I do use tda. So let me get this correct. You want me to load my movie into VDMod save it as wave under stream list then take that wave and convert it to ac3? Ok i do that now.

What version of tda? latest versions should support ac3 encoding directly or if you have 1.5/1.6 you need the ac3 plugin($30), http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/product/tsp_ac3.html

Yes, but use aften instead of ffmpeggui.
