Cannot add assets over network

Hi,
New poster but long time SVCD2DVD user.
I have never had any major problems with this program it just seems to work or any minor problems are fixed quickly.
I am having a problem now. Version 2.1 would allow me to add assets from my networked computers but Versions 2.5.3200 and 2.5.3300 will not let me add them. Tried double clicking, single click and Open and dragging file to assets. Nothing happens, box goes away and assests are empty.
If I run the old v2.1 it works fine. If I copy the files to the main computer that SVCD2DVD is running on they load as assets fine.
I had been using v2.5.3200 but just downloaded v2.5.3300 hoping that would fix it but it didn't.
Did a search on forum for 'network' but found no answers.
Not a big problem but it would save me a lot of time if it was working.

I have checked everything on this end and I can't find any problem.
As I said it works okay with v2.1 but not with v2.5.
I can see the files on the network but cannot add them to the assets window.

Just tried the new version 2.5.3500 and everything seems to work okay.
I can now add networked assets.
