I need a high quality DVD Burner, the best there is, so there is nearly no loss in quality.
I also need a tool to create credits at the end of my DVD, the kind that scroll down.
Does anyone know where I can get these?

It takes more than just having a high quality DVD BURNER. Using good quality dvd media such as VERBATIM & TAIYO YUDEN is important as well.
If you have a SATA connection on your motherboard I'd suggest getting the SAMSUNG 20x SATA S203B dvd burner. If you don't have SATA connections you can use a PCI SATA CONTROLLER CARD. Or just buy a PATA PIONEER 112 drive.
Check out the SAMSUNG S203B review at Cdfreaks.com. They also have dvd burner forums there as well.

To start:
The burner really has nothing to do with picture quality of your DVD's video. It just places the what you create in other applications onto the media. The burner is pretty much a "works or doesn't work" part of the equation. Check out the DVD Writers forum here for plenty of good advice on choosing a model that works best.
As for the software it's a tough question to answer. What are you trying to accomplish? Are you transferring home movies from a camcorder to DVD? Transferring old VHS to DVD? Do you want to want to edit your footage? Most importantly "What is your budget?"
The more specific you can be the more help you'll get. You've come to the right place.
