  1. hi, i'm in the process of ripping the audio using VOB2audio but after i hit start this message appear " Intervideo audio decoder cannot be found" and its says i need to register the filter. i have no idea how to do that. can you please help me, and post the step by step procedure to solve this problem. thank you very much

  2. reinstall Vob2audio as this will install it for you and register it...my i ask question did you have WinDVD install when you installed Vob2audio and you uninstalled WinDVD after the instalation of Vob2audio??? if so that is your problem becuase Vob2audio detects if WinDVD is installed and register WinDVD's Audio decoder to it own

  3. thanks, the WinDVD is a pre-installed software. i think it's part of the package when we bought the computer. i tried to re-install the Vob2audio but the result is the same. i'm getting the same error. how do you think i can resolve this problem. thank you very much. randy

    This is from the vob2audio readme (always read the "readme")
    "vob2audio is based on directshow-filters, which get registered with the installation of vob2audio.
    If you use different versions of the filters and have problems, please use the filters coming with vob2audio, especially don't use the iviaudio.ax version 2.3, use 2.0 instead!!"
    Go to c:\windows\system\ and look for iviaudio.ax. Check which version it is. If it is a wrong version install vob2audio once again.
    If the filter is still not registered, open the command line console, change to c:\windows\system\ (resp. c:\winnt\system32\) and type
    regsvr32 iviaudio.ax
