Hi
I'm running vista on a sony vaio laptop. This laptop has a built in webcam which works fine. I use it generally to chat with people using Yahoo messenger without any problem so far.
I installed ffdshow rev 1469 / 2007-09-07, and since then, all the people seeing my webcam see it in a strange emboss way. On my side, the preview is just fine.
When I first start the webcam sharing in Yahoo Mes, it prompts me to know whether I want to use ffdshow or not. I tried both, and it is remotely displayed wrong either way.
I tried also to disable all codec support in FFDSHOW but it doesn't change anything.
The only solution I found was to uninstall ffdshow, and suddenly all is fine again...
Can somebody help/advise please?
