Is it possible to rip the content from a Blu-Ray disk and put it on to a DVD-R so it can be played on a 'normal' DVD player?

    Thanks!

You must "downconvert" to dvd-video. Normal dvd players doesn't support any hd.

I think latest convertxtodvd can convert to dvd from blu-ray discs. But you must first rip it with dvdfab decrypter or run anydvd.
