Recently I have been trying to stream videos between itunes. To make long story short, all the videos in itunes are either mp4 or h264. But the problem is certain videos cannot be streamed. Someone on another forum suggested that the reason it fails is because videos apparently have this "stream" flag/property. I can see this feature in QuickTime Pro when converting a video to another format, there is an option to make it "stream"able.
Now the question is, does anyone know anything about streaming mp4 and h264? Is it something special that quicktime does? Or is it in the mp4/h264 standards? Can other videos be flagged "stream"able when converting with other encoders? I cant seem to find this setting in other commercial encoders
please help!
