    Has anyone used the Airlink+ ATVUSB01 ?

I put the cd in my computer, it rebooted and now my mouse is paralyzed.

The device is not(& was not) connected & I never completed the installation wizard.

Airlink Tech support was useful enough to tell me it could not be their device cause it is not connected or installed

My mouse is working fine on another computer.

I've disconnected (& reconnected) my mouse several times, removed the driver cd, restarted the computer several times.

Everytime windows finishes loading, the found new hardware wizard opens (but the device is not plugged in).

NOw its time to get back to real work (was only hopin we'd be able to put some family video on dvd anyways) & my mouse is still paralyzed.

Does anyone here have any suggestions?

    much appreciated-tangaroo

I believe if you press F5 during the boot process, you will be taken to the XP boot menu, where you can choose to boot to a previous known working configuration...or something to that effect. Which will then hopefully boot to a restore point prior to your installation snafu.

Thanks Krispy Kritter! You're on the right track.

My system is running smoothly again.

Airlink finally replied to my help email; Reboot your system, keep pressing F8 before Windows boots, and choose Last Good Configuration that worked.

Now to get this device working & not paralyze the ole mouse just when it's time to get the real work done! LOL

    take care-tangaroo
