    I have a problem here! :P

I have a movie which has hardsubs on it. So I'm using a filter in virtualdub to blur them, but after the re-encoding, the resulted video-file has its audio out of synch and the video, lags in some parts!

what the heck I'm doing wrong? :P

ps: when I load the movie, this warning appears:

What I do in this situation is re-encode with the audio as CBR. Before you re-encode find the audio settings and make sure it encodes to CBR. Then it'll be fine.

I often use this method with VDM: https://forum.videohelp.com/topic280779.html

Then I 'add' the WAV back in and re-encode it to CBR audio with LAME MP3 ACM.
