Hi,
I want to join a movie i got which is in two parts. If the files i add in virtual dub to join have exactly the same attributes(fps,bitrate,size etc.) will the result i get be in sync???

	They should be if they were split properly in the first place. Just append the second to the first, save as 'Direct stream copy' and see. It only takes a few minutes. But some videos are split with no regard to joining them back together. Using MP3 VBR audio or not splitting on a key frame can cause problems when joining. 
 
 If you were combining them to convert to a DVD, I wouldn't. Just encode the two parts separately to MPEG and let your authoring program do the 'joining'. That will improve the odds that there will be no sync problems.
