Code is not working on Polaroid PDX-0073, HELP!

Hi there.....

I did found a unlock code here on this site for my port. dvd player Polaroid PDX-0073;

Its:
Turn on with no dvd inside
Open lid
Use Remote
Hit Set up
Use arrow keys to preference menu
Enter code 1379
Region code will apear,and after this instruction its not working anymore, i cant use the arrow keys to choose a region!!!
I noticed on this site and other sites that there are more people with this same problem!
It seems that the latest models are extra secured by Polaroid!
I hope that someone can help me with this problem.......

There are a few possible explanations. You have a newer model in which Polaroid has now locked the firmware, you have a different version (region 1 and the code is for region 2), or you are doing it wrong.

Hi,

I did buy the Polaroid PDX-0073 dvd player in the USA.....it only plays region 1 dvds.
So i am searching for a hack that works on this US Polaroid dvd player! ( To get it region free)
Is it true that the hack on this site only works on a region 2 player?? Is this realy possible???
