    Are there any simple software for conversion of AVI to DVD video

    I don't need menu, just wanted the whole AVI movie to convert and became a DVD video. the software should preferably automatically cut up the dvd movie into different chapters. That's all I want.

    any software to recommend.

    FAVC or DVD Flick are free.
    DivxtoDVD is free. ConvertXtoDVD is not, but is smarter and better quality than it's freeware little brother.
