  1. I was converting Austin Powers: the Spy who Shagged Me to SVCD with CCE 2.50SP. When played on TV, it was jerky. So it might be a field order problem. But I checked that I got the correct field order (top first). In fact, I tried reversed field order, the result was still the same. CCE has never given me such problems since I started using it. Can anyone shed some lights on this weird problem?

BTW, I tested it with TMPG, it came out all right. So it must be some settings problem with CCE.

  2. What's the framerate of your source? What's the framerate of the CCE encoded MPEG (should be the same). TMPGenc's will force 29.97fps so it should work.

Did you use DVD2AVIO's force film? If so try applying the pulldown/3:2 filter your your encode MPEG.

  3. Source is 29.97 fps NTSC film. I didn't force film in DVD2AVI. I always encode 29.97 fps, otherwize Nero would say stream is non-compliant. It's really weird.
