If the HD video method is too complicated, upload your video in AVI or WMV format.
    480x360 resolution minimum
    30 fps
    950+ Bitrate

This will give you the "View video in High Quality" option.
Be happy with what you got.

LOL! Secret! Sorry, just had to laugh at that...

Really, if you want to upload 720p videos to YouTube, or 320 kbps audio, familiarize yourself with video file formats and their properties. Learn more about hexadecimal, and its rules. Begin to learn why, not just how, videos bypass YouTube's re-encoding process. Then you'll be a pro.

Nope you'r wrong Captain... actually we'r "Addicted"

BTW for thus who want to get "Watch In High Quality (WIHQ)" on Youtube you can encode-render with this minimum requirement

FORMAT: MP4 (work better for me-Encoded with H264), AVI, WMV
    RESOLUTION: 480x360
FRAME RATE: at least 29.9770 fps or 30 fps
    BITRATE: Above 600 Kbps
    AUDIO: 128/44.1

Listed above ONLY the MINIMUM requirement! to get the WIHQ - Video Quality is up to you based on your video source, bitrate etc.....

Sample Video Link to Normal MP4 source encoded with H264 uploaded to youtube:
Specs: 480x360~29.9770 fps~1500-2000Kbps bitrate~Audio mono Source encoded to 2 Channel
You can also click at Watch In High Quality below the video..

i've been experimenting all day with the teamwork method and averaged out the success:

20 uploads for each type of video:

Still or "slideshow" : succeeded 100% of all uploads
Crazy motion" Only succeded 40% of all 20 uploads

i've also come up with the fact that you can upload Slideshow videos to as long as you like and the outcome will be:

    failed to convert: - no
    thumbnail: - proper
    glitch - no
time untill re - encode - never

    http://youtube.com/watch?v=xOXHyKcDT3I

however, when i uploaded 720p HD, rendered in Sony vegas
i've recieved failed to convert, in any possible resolution format.

venomite, are you rendering to the same size as one of the defaults?

Also, I'm not sure if this is new, but when I was encoding a file to FLV with VMuTube the video hung up at audio and encoding 2x the proper length. I then hex edited the timestamp and everything else like normal, and uploaded.

The video was 2:11, at 2:12 the audio repeated itself with no video except a gray screen until 4:22, then it jumped to related videos.

The video duration displayed 22:00 when I hexed to 11:00. One thing I noticed with hexing and the Teamwork/C243 method, is that it's rather shoot or miss: If it makes it onto Youtube, no matter after 1 or 2 uploads, it doesn't get re-encoded (for me anyways). The thing I noticed with this one is that after about an hour it got re-encoded to low quality without audio, and the duration displayed 11:00. The video still continued to 4:22 (with nothing from 2:11-4:22 since there was no sound), but it kept the padding, even with Youtube's re-encoding. I deleted the file RIGHT after I uploaded, as I thought I wouldn't need it, but if anyone would like to see what I mean I'm pretty sure I could reproduce it using the exact same steps.

I'm not sure if this is useful or not, but I thought it's worth posting because 22 minutes is a huge difference from 11 minutes.

Try uploading the video again; sometimes it works for me on the second try.

i also experimented with with Default.flv settings - there is a more chance of success if you have your Default.flv's resoultion smaller then your source video. For example:

-i have a 640x480 res video, i would set my default as 480x360
    -----OR------
-i have a 1280x720 res video, i would set my default as 720x576

if you put your default res the same as your source video res, the inconsistent resolution of your default can can really make it fail to convert.

My method is still working perfectly ^^

Guys, remember to use MULTIVIDEO Upload!
The success rate is MUCH MUCH higher with MULTIVIDEO Upload.
(I don't know why, and I don't want to know why)

I tried uploading a video using DEFAULT Uploader and it took 3 tries, whereas uploading using MULTIVIDEO Uploader has 100% Success Rate for me.

P.S. I think MULTIVIDEO Uploader is a little faster than the SingleFile Uploader.
Correct me If I am wrong.

You don't need to open the binded FLV file. Just upload and it will be fine ^^

i tried using the multivideo uploader and it keeps giving me a message saying "please add a tittle and video description to video.flv" when it already has one.

Venomite, that problem means that it can't find either your video or default.flv. Try again and make sure you aren't spelling the filename wrong or you aren't in the wrong folder.

I combined cjwcorp's method with c243. I made the flv with c243, but since there is a defualt.flv included in it I don't have use flv binder right? Should I resize the defualt.flv because now I keep getting "failed (unable to convert video file) How do I make a new defualt.flv with these settings at a different resolution?

I ran the defualt.flv that I have through media info:

    Video

    Format : H.263
    Width : 480 pixels
    Height : 360 pixels
    Display aspect ratio : 4/3
    Stream size : 3.35 MiB (3481%)

    Audio

    Format : MPEG Audio
    Format profile : Version 1 / Layer 3
    Channel(s) : 2 channels
    Sampling rate : 44.1 KHz
    Resolution : 16 bits
    Video delay : 2s 100ms

I hexed this video using c243 and flv reader without having to run it through flv bind, but now it doesn't work:

FireFox 3 doesn't support MultiVideo Uploader yet. Use Internet Explorer or a previous version of Mozilla Firefox

Alright, the C243 party seems to have drawn to a close. I've been trying to upload C243 files since last night with no luck.

I shall finally be moving over to the Teamwork method. Hopefully, there won't be any more heartbreak.

That's strange. Your combination (bind+zappa+hex) doesn't seem to work either. Guess I'll give it a few more tries before PM'ing you for help.
